    Description

    The winegrower

Yannick Amirault took over some vines of his grandfather in 1977, planted between the appellations Bourgueil and Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. He always had at heart to render the expression of the terroirs thanks to his emblematic varietal Cabernet Franc. Joined by his son Benoit in 2003, the two of them decided to go bio and received the certification in 2009.

    The wine

The soil is ocher, clayey and herbs grow luxuriously, nature is dominant in the vineyard.

It is a powerful wine with nice aromas of dark fruits, cherry, tobacco, and notes of graphite. The pronounced structure begins to lighten.
