    The Domaine

    The reputation of the estate began in 1922 with Baron Philippe de Rothschild, he decided to forge an identity and a worldwide reputation there. For example, he inaugurated full bottling at the château. In 1973, not without difficulty, it benefited from the revision of the 1855 classification and Mouton joined the elite of the first classified growths of Médoc.
