    Description

    The Domaine

« Fac et Spera» is the family motto of the estate and means « do and hope », translating true humbleness in the face of the soil and the vines. Michel Chapoutier takes back the family house in Tain L'Hermitage in 1990 and founded there a Rhone empire. In thirty years, nothing stopped his passion for wine and his love of great terroirs. He nowadays runs 350 hectares through the Rhone Valley, Champagne, Alsace, and Languedoc regions, with a bit in Australia too.

    The wine

This Saint-Joseph has a magnificent golden color and a nose marked by minerality. It is well balanced in the mouth and let a finale delicately spicy evolving towards notes of honey.
