The estate

This is a very famous estate and family in Côte de Nuits. Created in the early 70s, it was managed at the time by Jean and François Gros. In 1995, Jean Gros retired and the estate was split between his children Michel, Anne, and Bernard. The property extends in various appellations of Côtes de Nuits and received the "Clos des Réas" in monopoly in 1995. Nowadays, it covers 19 hectares. 

The wine 

Situated on the hump overlooking the Réas valley, this wine develops a very elegant personality with notes of red fruit and blackcurrant. Thanks to careful ageing in our cellars, this Pinot Noir has developed truffle and bacon notes without losing its freshness or the brightness of the fruit.
