The estate
The history of the estate began in the early 20th century. It wasn't until 1977 that Yannick Amirault took over his grandfather's 3.4 hectares of vines, where he sublimated the cultivation of the vines, deeply rooted in a choice to manage his rows according to the lunar calendar. The estate, located on the right bank of the Loire, is now run by Yannick Amirault and his son Benoït.
The wine
This cuvée comes from sixty-year-old vines planted on a hillside overlooking the village of Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. Thanks to the plot's excellent exposure, the Cabernet Franc is concentrated, giving the wine notes of black fruit such as blackcurrant.
