The estate
Founded at the end of the 19th century by Jean Grivot, it is now run by Étienne Grivot. The estate has a surface area of 14.72 hectares and produces 18 crus, most of them reds, including some Grands Crus such as Richebourg and Clos-de-Vougeot. The estate follows a policy of organic viticulture without certification.
The wine
An exceptional Grand Cru, with aromas of black fruit, liquorice and spices. In magnum, the wine develops greater complexity and silky tannins, with depth and great aromatic persistence.
