Côte-Rôtie

The domain

Of peasant origin, the Clusel-Roch estate has roots in several appellations, long before the current fame of Côte-Rôtie. The field began to flourish in the 1990s under the leadership of Gilbert Clusel. It's the decade of change for property; we are starting to practice "mass selection," which involves replanting new vine stocks from the best old vines. We resume plowing, we stop using chemical products, and organic certification was obtained in 2002. A deep passion sustains and brings life to this vineyard, where many other winemakers would have given up.

Open a few hours in advance and/or decant.

To be served preferably around 15°C - 17°C.
