A little history...

In 1911, André Terrail bought the Tour d'Argent and united it with the Café Anglais by marrying the daughter of the owner Claudius Burdel. The Café Anglais had been the haunt of "English customers" after the peace of Amiens in 1902. The legacy of the Café Anglais is our beautiful products, celebrating the famous tea time. Tea to respect the British tradition, of course, but also coffee so that everyone can quench their thirst according to their preferences. For sustenance, French-style sweetness: our authentic Breton palets with a savory taste, light dough, and rich in butter, accompanied by two delicious apricot and strawberry jams to make this moment more fruity.
