    The domain

    Maxime Borie de Maurel prioritises the pure expression of the Minervois, with meticulous viticulture and thoughtful ageing. The estate highlights the fruit and minerality of the soil, producing structured, harmonious wines suitable for ageing.



    The wine

    The nose opens with blackberry, blackcurrant, dried herbs, and sweet spices. On the palate, the texture is dense, the tannins are melted, and the freshness supports the whole. The finish, long and slightly smoky, reveals hints of liquorice and plum, indicating a wine that is already mature but still very lively.
